Whether in person or through virtual sessions, customers can choose between three Lab services:

Experience Lab: focus on innovation methodology, cultural transformation, experience design, customer journeys and design thinking.
Technology Lab: leverage the Lab to evaluate fintech/start-up integration, implement and test newly launched technologies, research technology for specific use cases and learn how to scale it.
Business Lab: the full Lab experience focusing on a specific business topic and the technologies supporting it.

2024

The Lab expands its portfolio of applied AI experiences, encompassing intelligent banking services, extended reality solutions for Retail and specialized training, advanced inventory management, and visual inspection for industrial environments. We evolved the Smart Shopping Assistant with personalized virtual assistance in clothing stores and enhanced the photofloor with generative AI. We integrated hyper-realistic avatar creation for live streaming services
We pushed the boundaries of wearable technology experimentation, incorporating the AI Pin, an advanced iteration of the Neurosity crown, and new applications for Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.
We celebrate a decade of innovation. Since 2014, our Lab has been the epicenter of tangible innovation at GFT, developing prototypes and experiences that bring cutting-edge technology applications to life in real business scenarios. This approach enables us to evaluate their efficiency and understand their technological and cultural implications.

2023

The Lab incorporates new AI experiences such as the "ChatGFT" language model, the personalized AI assistant in the retail area and the holographic assistant generated by GenerativeAI, among others. We also integrated the Digital Asset Retail Toolkit (DART), which utilises blockchain technology in the retail sector.
We experimented with cutting-edge gadgets like Ray-Ban's SmartGlasses, Meta Quest 3, and Neurosity's crown.
We are expanding our spaces! We are revamping the retail space to include a Consumer & Goods area.

2022

The Lab incorporates new devices, including a 3D hologram projector, and other experiences around the GFT metaverse.
At the Industry area, we have implemented a high-tech refrigerator and set up a fully functional AI Visual Inspection space for customer projects.
We have set up a collaboration space with Tickendy, a promising start-up offering a solution to digitise purchase receipts using NFC or photography.

2021

The Lab is extended to accomodate a larger industry area with new gadgets such as wearables, new sensors, or a robotic arm
