‘I’m helping GFT make its mark by creating an ecosystem where Tech Talent can thrive’

At GFT, my passion lies in creating opportunities, nurturing growth, and building an environment where people can thrive. I believe in extending learning and development beyond the company to positively impact the broader community. I also believe in using my experience to open doors for the next generation of tech professionals, ensuring they have the skills and support to build meaningful careers.

I’m proud to be part of the GFT Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee that actively gives back to students at local universities and schools.
So far, we’ve partnered with Manhattanville University, Clemson University and the University of Chicago. Engaging with students, showcasing the many diverse career paths available in the tech industry and sharing personal stories is incredibly rewarding. Witnessing students’ curiosity towards our presentations and their appreciation of our technical expertise reaffirms to me the positive impact of these efforts.
The work we’re doing with our local universities reflects the global GFT initiative of ‘Grow Tech Talent worldwide’, which aims to cultivate IT talent across all age groups, from students to adults. To me, this is an important foundation for GFT’s organisational success. It means we’re investing in continuous learning and skills development externally, and so nurturing future tech talent that we can then potentially bring into GFT.

I think we all have a responsibility to give back to our local communities. Personally, I’ve been volunteering in my community for over 10 years, advocating for students’ needs in my children’s school district and ensuring they have ample resources. I’ve served as President on the PTO board, chaired committees on everything from culture to volleyball, and also led a project to improve the playground.

Volunteering has helped me create a positive impact, which I’ve loved. That sense of caring and commitment to achievement is strongly supported and deeply embedded within GFT’s culture.
